Being that I've made a pretty good living in the creative arts realm, it might seem odd that I would be jealous of those who can draw. I just cannot do it - my talents lie in other realms.

It is impressive that just a few lines on a piece of paper can come together in such beauty.

It's an old note book, some 35-40 years ago, living is much more exciting than just drawing.
I quit art school as soon as I realized that I had to live,I quit everything that was second hand, chess, checkers,Judo,Ping-Pong
You must know, there's joy when you please your family by earning good money for them to spend.

Good, healthy thinking, GP. But that talent is still there... sleeping, maybe, but it's there.

Someday, when you're too old to do anything else you can still draw.

I always wished that I could. ;-)

GP, everyone can sing. There are those who sing and everyone wants to hear it. Then there are others that when we sing people sue for silence.

When my uncle, who is as tone deaf as they come, sings I find great pleasure. Why? It certainly isn't because of the beauty of his voice. I find solace in the fact that he sings anyway. Singing provides everyone a venue for expressing thanksgiving or grief. More people should sing more often.

No amr, I never visited Syria but it's good to learn about countries you're never been to, by the people
who live there. I really appreciate Syrian jokes and stories
too.

I like the sketch even more than the plate, GPV. There's just something about the female form--and of course you brought some insight to the art as well.
